In seminary, I engaged a course called "Faith and Film" at Boston University. During this time we explored the way society depicts good and evil, hope and despair, and many moral issues of the world. With these thoughts in mind: where do you see God in the movies?

Why are the Comic book movies so appealing to our society. Is it the struggle of good verses evil; the moral quandary of whether Batman should kill the Joker; the redemption of Tony Stark as he becomes Iron Man; or the desire of Peter Parker to be just a normal teenager. I believe that through these cases we witness the same struggles humans have faced since the dawn of time. Further, we see the same solutions which Jesus teaches us about and those which were offered through Moses, Mohamed (peace be upon him), or any prophets . These films are representations of the human struggles which God is holding and guiding us through as we become more faithful beings. With this in mind, please watch a movie and share the struggle you see happening along with the hopeful solution which is found in God as witnessed in the film?
